Haha. Im talking as if im a 5 year old experiencing my very first fast. Thinking back, i was such a naughty kid back then. Hiding under tables, "accidentally" eating food, tap water, faking dehydration.. haha. the works, all to cure my hunger and thirst.
What is the point of fasting anyway?
I found myself asking this question (to myself, apparently) yesterday, which was the first day of Ramadhan. I asked, whats the point of starving one's self throughout the whole day. Then i realised, that for the past 16 years, i fast-ed because i had to, because my mom wanted me to. So, yeah, to any Non-Muslims who read this, we Muslims fast to keep in mind that we are lucky God gives us the basic nessecities, when there are millions of others on earth that are dieing of starvation.
Padappapaapaa. Gosh. I have a huge craving for McDonalds. haha.
Anyway, i went off at 10am this morning to study with my dearest at the GekPohCc. We entered the study room, sat amidst other early birds, and straight away started on with our own studies, not even talking much (which is something new).
At 1pm it got too cold, so he went home first, sneezing all the way. haha. Sorry Is. Then at 130 i couldnt take it too, so i went to my mom's shop. Was planning to study there, but my itchy throat and running nose kept distracting me, so i went home.
Did my Zuhur prayers, and watched Exorcist:The Beginning (on pirated Dvd, no less). haha. Gosh it sucks. Really, dont waste your money. I was drifting in and out of consciousness while watching it. All the build up when at last the bloody Satan was subdued just by the priest shouting and shouting some verses from the bible. -.- So anti-climax.
So yeah yeah, so much for [blog on hiatus], i hear you say. haha. I am bored lah, cant study with my running nose, itchy throat and grumbling stomach. *bah, excuses, fadhilah*. hahaha. Anyway, i cant wait for next Tuesday (Breaking fast with the Sephy Estrellas) and next Friday (Breaking fast with Nas, Beep, Him, Kim & maybe Kim's gal). One problem though... How to buy food outside when im broke? haha. Mom refuses to give me money for one reason : i owe her like a million bucks. Hp bills, what else. grr. haha. broke broke. Faddy is so broke.
Lets see lets see. I have another hour to dawdle on until i have to make a move to break fast with my family at my mom's shop. What else is there to write?
Oh ya, my cousin Lili. She's discharged today after having an emergency operation yesterday. Haish, i hope she recovers. I so so miss her. Most probably going to drop by her house tomorrow.
Ok, some of you might me wondering, like wat on earth is the Sephy Estrellas?
THIS is the Sephy Estrellas. Ok fine, these are the people who make up Sephy Estrellas. Sephy Estrellas doesnt have any meaning actually, it was just a high-class sounding name which Liyana thought of.
Liyana has this hype about American High-school stuff, and they always have this erm.. fraternities kinda thing? (you know, like in Sweet Valley books. haha) So yeah, she decided to open one for the four of us. Since we thought that after the Os, all of us are going to different Jcs or Institutes, might as well create something that will enable us to keep in touch with one another.
A quick introduction to the members of the Sephy Estrellas (L to R) :
Shafiah.
Undoubtly shares the throne with Atikah as the beauties in the group. No, dun get me wrong, both of them has more brains then me. Shafiah is the kinda grrl who is lady-like, soft spoken and gentle. But hey, she's like cili padi ok. Once you provoke this sweet gentle demure grrl, you're like asking for death. haha. Oh yeah, not to forget, she's the guy magnet.
Atikah.
Like i said, the other half of the beauty pair in the group. She is currently also the smartest amongst us, and i personally set her as a competitor. ahaha. Ok ok. She's been crowned Queen Mampat (Vuloptious Queen) by the guys in school. haha. Ok basically she's my best friend,the closest to me between the 3 of them. She's the one who people go to when they're in deep doOdoO.
Fadhilah. Me.
Wahahaha. I can basically just type in loads off bull about how i am the smartest in the group ladidadida. But no, i cant lie during fasting. haha. Ok, i can say that im the one with the roughest edge in the group, also known as the most tomboyish. haha. I listen more to hard and loud music and unlike them, i prefer jeans. heh. So anyway, im the crapper of the group, and sometimes, the one who makes them serious. The most emo too. :)
Liyana.
The founder of the group. yes yes, she's of a mixed parentage. Half Chinese, half Malay. Has a cute younger brother. (ok i digressed hahah) She's like the makcik of the group, always berletering and up to her makcik nonsense. haha. Oh and she has this fetish for perfumes, just like her momma. Speaking of her momma, she is a true blue anak mak. ahakz. Unlike the other 3, she wants to go into polytechnic.
Yay. So now you know who are the Sephy Estrellas. haha.
fooh. I can go on typing but i have to get all the food ready to be brought to the shop. What a long entry. Talk about being blog-deprived.
Anyway, something is really missing from this lay out. What what what?! I cant seem to place it. Any suggestions anyone?
