I GOT MYSELF

Lots of knowledge about Maritime Engineering, lots of experience, a *hot* new friend in the name of Collin, the know-hows on how to seduce taxi drivers into reducing cab fees, toned abs and leg muscles and not to forget a darker shade. What? The prize? No i didnt get that. Boohoohoo!

Ok i admit i wasnt that sore about not receieving the 10k, much less the 5k. I already prepared myself to lose when i arrived at Clifford Pier at 8 in the morning, only to find myself overshadowed by my competition.

Muscular men and women (who looked like they came out of the Gym Factory) as well as middle-aged men (around 20 odd years of age) greeted us with a tight lipped smile, as if laughing at my aunt (who was the eldest female participant; at 42 years of age), her friend, as well as me (who was the youngest female participant).

We grinned back, the sound of thunder as if mimicking the sinking feeling the three of us had. Not much later, raindrops began to fall quite heavily, covering the hustle bustle of the 82 groups of people, and the silence that had fallen between Cik Ya, her friend Cik Lin as well as me.

Drama-mama sia!

Haha. OK fine. We knew our hopes of getting the 5k was dashed, so we smiled and encouraged each other into giving our best and to just enjoy ourselves. When the instruction for the 82 Marshalls to go to their assigned group was given, enjoy ourselves we did, as a cute hunk named Collin approached our group with a megawatt smile plastered on that face of his. *swoons*

Ok seriously, he's soo cute. He's from SAJC, graduated last year and is now studying in NTU taking the course Engineering. Throughout the race we were like old friends, cracking jokes and laughing at each other etc. Geez. If only we exchanged numbers at the end. wahahaha. Joke Joke.

Faris.. you're still my number one, ok? haahhahahahhaha.

So anyway, i dont think you readers wanna noe about Collin anyway. So i shall elaborate more about the race. It was quite easy lah, if you minus all the running here and there. Btw, i dont have any photos as we were not allowed to bring any digital divices with us. sob sob.

The first stop was Singapore Poly, where i had to climb a wall (grazed my knee in the process) and Cik Lin had to jump into this big BIG container containing plastic balls in search of small cards. She didnt manage to collect enough cards, so we had to serve a 15 minute penalty.

From Dover mrt (where i squeezed through the gates so i dont need to pay), we travelled up all the way to Sembawang to get to the Sembawang Shipyard. This Maritime stop was the funniest one of all ah.

Before entering we were made to wear this huge helmets. As we were rushing, we didnt bother to resize the helmets to fit our head, so the Banglas there were laughing seeing the 3 of us running with our helmets bobbing front and back and front and back. At one point of time, it covered my eyes and i almost bumped into a cyclist. Not to forget it was really hurting my pimple and i felt like dying everytime the hard material knocked into the throbbing pimple of mine. To think the helmets were meant to keep us safe. Buh! haha!

We then had to complete a challenge, where we had to dress up one of our members in full welders' attire. Cik Lin volunteered to be the Barbie Doll, so Cik Ya and i got started

Cik Ya: (Holding out a piece of garment) What the hell is this?

Fad: Erm. I think its for the arms? Ok you grab one, i grab one.

Cik Ya: Ok! (Both of us try desperately to fit in that weird piece of garment on Cik Lin's arms)

Welder: NO NO NO! Those are for the legs!

(Cik Ya and Fad stood quietly for a second. Then the trio laughed like nutters)

Fad: Ok ok! Then whats this for? to cover the eyes right? (Holds out a helmet-ish thing)

Cik Ya: Ah should be what! Come give me i try! (Tries to stuff the thing over Cik Lin's head, with Cik Lin desperately lashing out trying to get air, and pushing Cik Ya away)

WelderS: NO NO NO! You're gonna kill her if you don't let her breathe! (Both rush to Cik Lin to help her)

So it went on that way for a full 5 minutes, with Collin and the other welders looking at the three of us in amazement. It was dead embarassing, but we did have a fun time laughing at each others' silliness and stupidity. kekeke.

After the Shipyard, we went to NOL building and completed a rather easy puzzle. We then proceeded to the building opposite Haw Par Villa, where Cik Lin volunteered to go against another participant in a jousting event. Cik Lin won in 2 seconds flat. WOAH! Dont look down on this small scaled lady ok? haha. Then we had to travel to an office building at around the Shenton Way area, where we had to participate in a life-sized board game.

Our last stop was the whole stretch of Boat Quay. (Or was it Clarke Quay). haha. Since i had the most stamina amongst the three of us, i volunteered to run and search for a statue of some guy (who i forgot his name) and the tallest shophouse in the area. After getting the info, i rushed back to meet them, then we ran to the Merlion to complete a quiz.

After finishing the quiz, we sprinted the last 200m back to Clifford Pier, to find out that we're group number 28. Not bad, given the conditions. Im rather proud of myself and my aunts. Weahhoo! tehehe. So we waited for 3 hours for the rest to come back, ate dinner, chatted a bit more with Collin, and went home to get our well deserved rest. yay. *claps*

Upon reaching Grannie's i slept like a baby for 2 hours, then my aunt and i (being the itcy legs we are), decided to watch The Aviator at Lot 1. The show starts at 830pm, so we thought it'd end at 11pm, latest. Little did we know that the show was 3 hours long. So by the end of it, Cik Ya was half asleep. haha. i didnt fall asleep as i liked the show. Leonardo's ass sure is sexaaay. heh.

So we reached home at around 12mn. I washed up etc, and talked on the phone with the other half till around 130am. After that, i was history. hahhaahah. Sooo tired. Since i still am tired now (despite sleeping the whole of today), i shall get an early rest i think. Goodnight.

Oh ya one more thing. RESULTS TOMORROW. I, for once, am really really nervous, i really feel like vomitting. I am very very very very scared shitless. Oh God.

Ya allah. Tolonglah hamba mu ini dapat at least 15 points for L1R5, and a distinction in Higher Malay. Insyaallah.

Darling of mine sent me to my grannies. Aww so sweet.

Friday, February 25, 2005

Yeah yeah cant resist a moment of blogging before i set off to grannies. Would prolly be jemaah-ing at the usual place, meeting the other half, and then proceed to Grannie's. khkehkhe.

I'd like to announce that i'd be uncontactable for the whole of tomorrow, due to the Amazing Race event, which starts at 8am and lasts all the way till around 9pm due to the dinner held after the event itself.

So anyway, i foresee myself and my aunt pouring over stacks of information so that we'd at least get pass the first obstacle. heh. I really, really hope to win at least 3rd prize, which is the $5000 as well as 3 Creative MuVos.

$5000 split into three would leave me with around $1650, which is a rather large amount for a girl like me. If i sell the Creative for $200, id have a grand amount of (around) $1900. With that amount i can:

For others.

- Top up for the other half to get a s700i and treat makan. ($300)

- Treat my family makan. ($200)

- Treat Ashrithaa and Claire makan. ($100)

- Treat Hakim, Nas and Farez makan. ($100)

- Treat the Society makan. ($100)

Total: $800

For myself.

- Put some in my bank account. ($500)

- Do something about my frizzy bonkers hair. ($200)

- Sell my 7600 and get around $350. Then, i'd top up to get a new hp. ($200)

- Pay my cellphone bills. ($50)

- Get a new turtleneck. ($50)

- Get a new bag. ($50)

- Get contact lenses. ($50)

Total: $1100

Huaarghahaha. faddy just loves, loves, loves to day dream about having lots of money. Its pure bliss i tell you. Call me money minded or whatever, i dont care. I need money to live, and so do you. Face reality.

khekhkehkehe. Pfft. I sound so materialistic. Which, im not. (well maybe a little)

Hahaha!

Breakfast for two at West Coast Park : $9.10

Two tickets to White Noise : $12

A packet of Tutu Kueh : $2

Drinks and foods from 7-11 : $4.20

Two hours of pool : $8.10

Lunch at Al-Ameen : $9.90

Total amount he had to fork out for the date : $45.30

The great time he had with me (haha) :
PRICELESS.

Yes, i admit i have no sense of shame. But judging by the smile he had on his face and the smile i had on mine, i have to conclude that we had a great time. However, of course the day has its fair shares of downs to.

Like for instance, we had a mini-fight when we first met in the morning, due to some relative issue (which i shall not elaborate on). And, that he squashed me in the the pool game 9-0.

BUH!

So anyway, my aunt, her friend and I have signed up for an Amazing Race event held by the Singapore Marine Foundation. I thought it would be chicken feet, as i could bring my cellphone and ask for help from the other half, as he has a great sense of direction (unlike me). But horrors of horrors! No cellphone, no ezlink, no money are allowed! The admin will give us $50 and with that meagre amount of money, we're expected to go around the whole of Singapore from 8am to 6pm. Die.

The only motivation i have is the Grand Prize of $10 000 and 3 Zen Micros. khekhekhe. Damn i desperately need to win.

Wish me luck, ya?

First things first. When you blogders entered my blog, was there any prompting to upgrade your internet explorer, and upon pressing "yes" or closing the window, an installation of an adware/spyware in your computer will commence? If the above happened to you, please inform me, yes?

So anyway, all tags are replied at the conclusion of today's entry (which is going to be rather long due to the exceptional events that happened). So if you can't stand reading endless atrocious english regarding my life, please proceed to read your replied tags, or click the "x" on the top right hand corner of this page. Thank you.

As most of the JJC-ians know, today will be my last day in JJC (presuming i touch the oh-God-why-is-this-happening-to-me 20 points). So we decided to make the day last longer, and collect as much memories together as we could to last us a lifetime.

*dabs tears*

The day started of with an Economics test which was supposed to last for 45 minutes. However, since I didnt really get to study (I dozed of last night whilst reading Lecture Notes 1; page 2), I haphazardly did the eeny-miny-minnie-mo thingy, and finished the 20 mcq questions in 10 minutes or so. Spending 30 seconds on 1 long Economics question would make me a genius, or an idiot. I have a strong feeling it'd be the latter.

[ From L to R ] Sangitah, Salbiah, Hai Lin, Yvonne and me.

Since most of the class had finished their paper in 30 minutes, the teacher gave us an early leave. The Society rushed down to the almost empty canteen to have our Last Breakfast together, and then rushed up again for Maths A/O tutorial even though we at first planned to ponteng. We were 5 minutes late, but as usual, my charm managed to distract the teacher, and we were not given any scoldings.

A damn funny thing happened during the tutorial. As the 5 of us were crowding around 2 tables and making a helllotta noise, the teacher instructed Sangitah and I to sit in the row upfront, and for Yvonne to sit on the other side of the classroom. So Yvonne went off and sat at her allocated seat, whilst the teacher went on explaining about Logarithms and instructing us to copy things down.

Hai Lin then tapped Sangitah, and said

" Did you know that Yvonne had been sitting there for around 5 minutes without any of her stationaries or worksheets? She's just stoning!"

So Sangitah and I turned our head 90degrees, and true enough Yvonne was staring at the teacher with a blank look on her face, the table in front of her as clean as a pie, oblivious that by now, the whole class was looking at her. haha. Lamer. Ok ah maybe this does not seem to be funny for you readers, but you have to be there to feel it. heh.

Since there was a half hour break before the Revelation 2005 concert was supposed to start, the Society decided to proceed to Lecture Theatre 3, our official meeting point. Halfway through crapping, the 5 of us suddenly fell silent and in the silent air-conditioned room, we heard a rustling of plastic bags and bangings from inside the locked storeroom.

Hai Lin and I glanced at each other, eyebrows raised.

"Did you hear what i heard?"

The 5 of us then grabbed our bags and rushed out the room. As Salbiah fretted that someone was stuck in there, the 5 of us as well as Nazeera and Shamini went back in. We made noises and waited for the bangings again, but could hear none. In the end we left the room with ringing questions in our minds, as none of us could muster the courage to knock the door or something in fear of what lurks behind it, ala "Hide and Seek". Haha!

Balloons in the sky.

Smoke Machine.

Since the 1030am bell has rung, the 7 of us then hopped our way to the hall, where Ashrithaa (the Rhino), Suhanthi as well as Natasha joined us. Therefore, the group of 7 now metamorphasised into a large group of 10.

Hai Lin was MissinginAction, a usual occurence.

The bare hall had been transformed into a stunning place, even with minimum decorations. Blue and white balloons (which reminded me of Commonwealth Sec) hung from the ceiling, with glowing light sticks holding them down. Rows of dried ice were emitting a cool haze around the hall, giving a misty effect. The projector screen upfront was playing a video of our Orientation camp, and soft music greeted the students entering the vicinity. I was really touched by the effort put in by our dearest OGLs, who had their common tests around the corner.

Maureen.

Merilyn.

Serene.

These 3 darling OGLs as well as Onn Shaun, (who was missing in action as usual) had painstakingly cut out pieces of a styrofoam board, decorated it and transformed it into pieces of a Jigsaw Puzzle. They then distributed a piece each to the group members. We then got together, and pieced the pieces together. Aww. Thanks OGLs. Muacks. Faddy loves you lots. One thing i am miserable about though, was that after piecing the pieces together, i totally forgot to take my piece back! I feel so evil. Sigh. damnations.

So anyway, all of us had a buffet lunch in the hall, courtesy of the principal (i think). After stuffing stick of still-panas satay and plates of noodle in our already filled stomach, we had another round of mass dance, which, sadly, was to be our last.

The ten of us took turns swapping partners (dance partners, mind you) and had a hellota fun shaking our asses and laughing at each other's zany antiques. Really. It was great fun even though we forgot most of the steps. I didnt even mind the huge sweat stain forming on my sleeve area. huargahah. it was THAT fun.

Penat, Naz? hehehhe.

So we then had our singing-singing etc, and then departed. Truthfully, if i am able to make it to SAJC or something, the only reason that will make it tough for me to go to SAJC will be the friends ive made in JJC.

Yes, im talking about you, Sangitah, Salbiah, Hai Lin, Yvonne, Nazeera, Shamini, Suhanthi and Natasha (even though me and Nat not that close yet). I love you guys to bits. Thanks for making me laugh like crazy every single day and making school enjoyable. JJC wont be much fun without you guys.

Muaaacks. Sayang korang.

Sometimes i cant help but wonder whether the Makcik-makciks who kiss each other's cheeks (as well as mine) after prayers know each other, or just kiss any old how? Hmm. Intriguing how they're all like one big family. I feel like such an intruder sometimes, but this one Makcik went out of her way to leave her friends, sat next to me and talked to me whilst waiting for Azan to commence. I can see myself visiting here often in the future, Insyaallah.

O Levels Results on next Monday!

Argh im so stressed out i tell you. Buh. Anyway, as you can see, ive not been updating much nowadays. My schedule goes on like this:

0500: Wakes up.
0630: Goes to school.
1500: School ends, goes out or mingle with friends in school.
1700: Meets the other half at the McDonalds near his house.
1845: Goes for prayers.
2015: Dad picks me up.
2030: Reaches home, watches TV, cleans up.
2100: Goes online, reads blogs.
2200: Eats dinner with family.
2300: Finishes homework.
2400: Off to dreamland.

Life's monotonous. Im just getting the jitters about the O Levels results. argh. Rumours are selling a dime a dozen, flying hot off the shelves, each one harvesting another cacoon in my already full stomach, waiting to be released on the day (which, by now, TP claims the results to be released on the 28th. Oh thats weird. I thought the principal announced it is due on the 25th? Ah.. But some said its tomorrow what.) heh. see what i mean?

And theres this other rumour regarding the students who received personal invites (that includes yours truly) for the NIE teaching career. So the rumour goes something like "Those who got the NIE thingy got an average of 17 point for their L1R4". So, that has made me worry even more about the results. Getting 17 for L1R4 is horrible. Its horrible HORRIBLE. Boohoo.

I was just reminded that tomorrow is Farhan's 10th (or isit 11th) Birthday. Damn im too broke to get that younger brother of mine a pwessie. Anyone up for sponsorship schemes? heh. Its such a sad case for him to get a sister like me. Pfft.

I went to the movies to watch Hide and Seek with Naz and Sal after school today. The initial plan was to watch the movie with Sangitah, Yvonne as well as Shamini. But you know how unreliable friends can get. Pfft. hehehe. Anyway, i give the movie a 4 out of 5, as the introduction was a little laggy. Shant be a spoiler and announce the ending to you blogders.

Alright then. I have an Econs test tomorrow, and trust me, i know NUTS. im screwed. bye guys. and oh...

Happy 8th Monthsary Is. Love you lots.

I was watching "The Wedding Singer" on channel 5, and was dabbing tears when Adam Sandler sang the following to the love of his life:

[[ Starts ]]
I wanna make you smile whenever you're sad
Carry you around when your arthritis is bad

All i wanna do is grow old with you

I'll get your medicine when your tummy aches
Build you a fire if the furnace breaks
Oh it could be so nice, growing old with you

I'll miss you
I'll kiss you
Give you my coat when you are cold

I'll need you
I'll feed you
Even let ya hold the remote control

So let me do the dishes in our kitchen sink
Put you to bed if you've had too much to drink
I could be the man who grows old with you
I wanna grow old with you...

[[ Ends ]]

I guess all people want ultimately when they get married is to grow old with their partner; essentially to last long, or in other words, to be with the person forever. All we want, is to wake up in bed 50 years down the road, open our eyes, only to see the person we love staring back at us. To be able to hold a decent conversation without getting on each others nerves, to still be able to smile whenever the person comes into our minds, to hold hands and declare to the world that our love still stands strong.

At least thats what i want. heh.

So anyway this so reminds me of my grandpa and grandma. I feel so touched everytime i see them together. Its like, both of them have retired, and live 75% of the day facing each other and noone else, and still managed to be so happy together.

How do i know? Cuz everytime i visit them, they'll be like caught up in their own conversations. My grandma praising my grandad at every lil thing he does, and my grandad just laughing it off and helping granny around the house. They'll solat Maghrib together, and start reading the Quran together, and will go to bed together. Its like so sweet.

Sigh. All i want is to grow old with you.
:: Friday ::

Truthfully, paying 48 dollars for Anugerah Planet Musik was so not worth my money. Blearh. I mean, yeah, there were a million artists present, but the fact that we're seated so far back (even when my ticket was the most expensive one available), we could only see brown circles as their faces. Buh!

The spotlights shining down on us were so bright thus further decreasing the visibility. Therefore, 90% of the time, i was staring into the big screen and not onto the stage itself. If thats the case, i might as well watch it at home right? haha.

The sound system was good though, as well as the hosts. The song lineups were not bad, though i would prefer faster songs to be played and not so much of ballads.

The performances i'd remembered would be Gerhana Ska Cinta (quite boring, but the last part where their "real music" emerged was great and i looked like a fool skanking in my seat), the 3 divas which consisted of Siti Nurhaliza (M'sia), Melly and Kris (indon), and Taufik's performance.

Taufik sounded so much better live, truthfully. I wasnt that big a fan of his, but after hearing him sing, im a big (ok lah not so still) fan of his. Its like..

[[ Taufik comes on stage and seats himself ]]

Audience : *screammm* *screeaamm*
Fad : (Looks around and starts screaming just to feel "in")

[[ Taufik sings ]]

Fad : Whoah. (Melts and listens intently for the next 3 minutes)

I recorded part of his singing, and listens to it everytime i have the chance to. If his album wasnt made up of crappy songs, i'd have bought it. Buh! And no, i didnt get any photos with any artists. Bluergh! 50 bucks is soo not worth it.

Wani and I.

Adams Road food. Yum yum.

After the concert, my aunt, my cousin (Wani) and I, bumped into another pair of Uncle and Aunt. The whole group then decided to makan at Adams Road, at 1230pm. The three of us reached my Grannie's at 1:30am, and i only managed to sleep at 2plus am.

:: Saturday ::

My grandad was supposed to wake me up at 5am, so that i can get ready to reach school at 630am due to the fact that JJC was having their funfair. However, he only woke me up at 5:15am, which was a good thing actually since i only managed to get 3hours of sleep.

So i got up, changed, and remembered that i didnt bring my $20 worth of tickets for the fair. So at 6:20am, i left the house, hopped on a cab and spent $10 on the ride back home. Grabbed whatever i needed for the day, and got my dad to send me to school.

A few of us went to Wei Zhong's (dont know spelling. hehe) house to begin our Bahaha fritters production. So we sat and with the help of WZ's mom, folded nice popiah filled with banana and chocolate syrup and gorenged them. Yum Yum. By 10am, the demand for the Bahaha fritters were so high, that we couldnt keep up with the orders. Quite proud of that achievement actually. heh!

However, my Bahaha folding skills sucked (the only successfull one being the one shown above) so i was appointed with the task of being the transporter as well as the fryer. I have to say, oil from the deepfryer as well as oil from running to and fro from school to WZ's house, made me like such an orang minyak. So shiny and glossy that people thought i was a mirror. Pfft.

After packing up, the rhino and i proceeded to Harbour Front, to meet Claire baby as well as the other half (doesnt apply to Rhino). We reached there at around 4:45, and met up with Claire as well as 3 of her friends at the foodcourt. After mingling with them for awhile, i bought an Apple Crumble for the other half, and proceeded to meet him on bus 30.

So after dropping at his area, he had to go home and get his Hp's box etc cuz he was selling it. Since i was free and wanted still to spend time with him, i went to Masjid As-syakirin to solat Asar as well as jemaah Maghrib. I fell in love with the Masjid lah. So serene and the person saying the Azan had such a heavenly voice. Thought of going there again today, but had a minor change of plans, so here i am at home.

After Solating i re-met with him at Lakeside interchange, where he sold his phone, and now he's holding on to a Samsung phone. The one which slides open.

Ok im hungry and wanna go makan. Later!

Friday, February 18, 2005

Oops.

Can't seem to resist last minute blogging before i step out of my beloved house. How am i going to survive going to sleep at night without having my nightly medication aka blog-hopping? Sighness.

So anyway, my aunt gave me an sms

"Pakai lawa2 skit. Live telecast." (Wear nice2. its a live telecast.)

hahha. cute lah she. So i searched high and low in my meagre wardrobe, and really, really couldnt find any decent things to wear. My jalan2 wear consists of workish clothes (ultra formal) and erm... workish clothes. I mean, go to a concert wearing workish clothes? How am i gonna attract Taufik and the guys from Dewa? khekhekhe.

So i cried myself to sleep, and woke up 20 mins later, with an idea forming in my head. I dug into the pile of clothes lying around the floor, and found a non-formal-lepak-but-looks-ok turtleneck and popped it on. Turned my mom's wardrobe upside down looking for her long tudung, ironed it and tied it around my head. After a million unsuccessful tries, i finally got an end result that was unsatisfying, but acceptable. heh.

I think my aunt's gonna kill me when she finds out im wearing this. khekhekhe. oh well. *Grins*

The other half has gone for his full-dress play rehearsal at NYJC, and his hp has run out of battery life. We've not met for 3 days (inclusive of tomorrow). I am in a state of missing him. Burgh.

Ok im off. Here's a random photo of Sangitah (babe i spelled your name correctly or not) to keep you guys entertained while im gone. And for those who have not clicked the link in the last entry, please do so. Thank you, and goodbye.

Perasaan Bollywood.
Anugerah Planet Musik tonight!

EEek! So exciting! Siti! Tauffiiiiik. aaaaah. *swoons like a crazed fan*. So anyway, the whole class is still at school to prepare for tomorrow's fair, while i'm here so that i can get ready to proceed to watch the event. Find me somewhere in your tv screens tonight at 830pm, Suria. Im the one who glows. wahahha. lamer.

Dang i need to use the loo. Will blog again tomorrow night as im sleeping over at my grannies tonight.

Something's terribly wrong with my shoutbox since yesterday night, and i am unable to tag. However i'd just like to inform that all tags have been replied on the 16th February entry!

Perhaps i shouldnt be so hard on myself, nor my mother. We both are tired and cranky and perhaps we tend to vent our knots on our loved ones. Sigh. I've wrote her a three page long letter, and all i can do now is to wait for her arrival back home from her shop. I do hope she takes the letter the way i want her to take it, and not make a big hoohaa and start a massacre. Insyallah.

Going out with Rhino, Pig, Lizzy as well as Astroboy has definitely cheered me up. Rhino loved the custom-made shoes we got her, i loved the ang pow that the Pig's mom gave me. heehehe.

Hows this for a laugh? (keep in mind this was a show dedicated to children, and was broadcasted to millions worldwide).

I miss the other half.

Wednesday, February 16, 2005

First and foremost,

A happy happy happy birthday to my darling Ashrithaa (Rhino).

May your life be blessed further still, may you choose the right man (although either ways you'll have to convert to Islam. wahaha), may your OLevels results be like your third dream (8 points sey), may you, Claire and I remain close buds ever, may your boobs catch up to the pig's size, may your hair stop dropping, may you be spared of Chuchini ailments, and last but not least, may the people in Woodbridge finally accept you so that you can hang out with your own kind. hhehee! Happy seventeenth birthday dear. Faddy aka Alien will always love you lots. Muaacks!

So anyway, today was Society's Sleeping Day. Regular blogders will understand what Society is, but for the sake of those who don't, let me explain.

The Society.

The Society consists of 5 people, namely, Me, Sanghita, Salbiah, Yvonne and Hai Lin. All of us have two common similarities between us;
1) We are from class 05A06, the last arts class in JJC.
2) We are all freaking (and i mean FREAKING) lame people, who can't keep our mouths shut for 2 seconds.

So back to the story. Since today was sleeping day, we went around the whole school doing what we were required to do; sleeping. The moment we enter a class/lecture theatre, we would all place our heads on the table, facing our right. khekhekhe. and the queen of sleep would be Yvonne, who even once slept whilst changing clothes. Like what the~ haha. *salutations* to Yvonne!

Yvonne the sleeping queen.

During PC (Physical conditioning) lesson, we were asked to play Captain's ball as a class. At first it was ok, but after a while, i got irritated by the too-many-players-playing-at-the-same-time, so i sat in the shade and watched the game from the sidelines. Hai Lin soon joined me. She initiated doing situps, and since ive been dying to burn my stomach fats, both of us completed around 30 situps. yay.

We then sat and talked cock, the usual girl talk regarding our bodyparts (heh). Then it came to the abs, and we were not sure about whether we have fats, or abs. so we stood up and started feeling each other's abs. I know this sounds Lesbianish, but bare with me. After feeling each other's abs for a few minutes (this act was NOT sensual in any way, no one was aroused in the process), we concluded that we have abs.

Hai Lin then suggested that we look at each other's abs to confirm. So i agreed lah, since i do love my abs. Since we were facing the netball court, it would be wrong for us just to flash our *ehem* solid abs *ehem* to the 40 or so pair of eyes. So we turned our backs on them, and when we were about to flash, i realised that we were facing the HIGHWAY where a million cars were like going past every second, and like a bazillion Banglas were going past in their lorries. I managed to stop Hai Lin on time, and on realising our stupidity, we fell to the floor laughing. heh.

Hai Lin and I are NOT lesbos!

Oh oh! And please do not sit down after exercising, as your butt will get fat! I just knew that today by the way. *buh*

So after school, i went straight home to bathe and change, as i have to proceed to my Grannie's to return my aunt her laptop. After getting all dressed up,

(pardon a digression here. i think i looked real grown up just now, as i was wearing clothes which were work-ish, and i was carrying a laptop bag. Since i went out during the end of the office hours, alot of people thought i was working. So whilst on my way to grannie's, the teenagers hecked about me, but i noticed the 20-sumthingish people looking at me. wahahha. ok this is totally out of point)

i got out of the house, and proceeded to my mom's shop to pass her the house keys. Whilst entering the gate of the shopping center, i got this sudden desire to check how i look like in the toilet mirror nearest to the gate. I got in, and Lo and Behold, i found out that i forgot to zip my jeans. -.-||| erk. luckily i was wearing black, so it wasnt noticable. hahaha.

The other half.

I met the other half before proceeding to Grannie's. We met up at Lakeside MRT station, and walked to the McDonalds near the My Kampung coffeeshop at Jurong West. I was in my workish attire, and him, his i-just-woke-up-from-sleep-attire. hehe. He carried my laptop bag for me, and i think we looked like a grown up couple. wahahhahaha.

Its like he's the houseman and im the working adult in the family. i conveyed my thoughts to him, and almost got the laptop thrown into full on traffic. Pfft. heh. So we sat, drank, chat and ate at McDonalds for around 45 minutes, the proceeded back to Lakeside MRT so i can meet my aunt. The other half just couldnt stop teasing me all the way, telling me about how this-girl-sang-so-nice-and-i-cant-stop-gushing-about-her, marliana-was-telling-me-i-need-to-learn-how-to-flirt and things along that line. Buh!

So we parted ways, and when i got onto the train, my phone rang

Fad: Hello?

Aunt: hehehehe. hello.

Fad: Yes?

Aunt: You're on your way is it?

Fad: Yup yup. Gonna reach there soon enough. dont worry.

Aunt: hehehehehehe.

Fad: Ah something is wrong. Out with it!

Aunt: I forgot lah. I got Company Dinner today, so cannot meet you and discuss about the laptop. heheheheheehehe. (chuckles from her friends can be heard).

Wah i almost strangled her man. haha! but since she's my best aunt, i recomposed myself, and decided that i should just head to my grannie's, leave the laptop there, and write down whatever instructions needed to repair the laptop.

Lalala. What a bloody long entry. I am tired, and Fauzi is shouting here and there. Dont blame him though, since he was appointed to teach farhan. That youngest brother of mine happily went out to a birthday party the whole freaking day, and now he has lots of homework to complete. Buh. and my mom didnt even nag much at him, if compared to what Fau and me will get if WE went to a party till late.

I really think my Mom manjas him too much. Its evident. I even recall her saying once at a party

"I love all my children the same, but the young one i manja more lah."

I was 12 at that time, i think. And i was hurt, but i smiled all the same. Which child wouldnt, right, if he/she knows that her parent gives her sibling more attention and love.

Sigh. Everytime i try to lie on her lap, she'd push me away and ask me to get a pillow. Evertime i lean on her, she'd push me away again. I try to make nothing of this, but everytime i see my youngest brother cuddling up to her, i feel jealous. Buh. Pardon the digression.

Sooo, yeah. Im gonna reply the tags now before i ramble on and on about the green thing in my mind towards my youngest brother.

Reply to tags:

I think anyone who stumble upon this blog will think im lovesick. Which, i think i am. And thats bad right? I seem to ignore my friends, as if they're insignificant. BUT, the opposite, rather. To all my friends who think you're insignificant to me, i am sorry! You guys are important to me.. (",)

Like for example, i fail to mention

- How thankful i am towards Nazeera for accompanying me to do the Arts portfolio. It was great talking crap with you, and exploring the places, though i still dont understand why you find the exhibits at the Asian Civilisations Museum interesting. hehe!

- How i met Claire yesterday after school behind Ashrithaa's back. And we crapped and its like soo long since i talk to her like that. I miss you Claire chan! *hugs*

- How i am so happy ive found friends in JJC. Friends like
. Sangitah, who is 24-7 by my side, and never fails to make me smile no matter how tired i am.
. Salbiah, who is like super duper lame sometimes i cant believe it. Another person who never fails to make me smile.
. Nazeera, who is forever making me laugh because i love teasing her.
. Shamini, who is forever being bitchy and providing entertainment.
. Yvonne, forever making me laugh cuz she sleeps practically anywhere.
. Hai Lin, who is my victim. So i love her in a sadistic manner. hehehe.

So anyway, since today i only met the other half, it is right that i talk about it right? haha. ok lah im such a loser. sue me. k i shall make this short.

I spent the whole day out with the other half yet again. We ate bweakfast at s11, the usual prata, went to grab "I Do I Do" which was hilarious and deserves a 3/5 and then proceeded to complete whatever homework we have at a Long John Silver outlet, accompanied with Mocha Ice Blend from Coffebean.

Done. hehe.

So anyway, my english language in this entry is pretty atrocious. i am too knacked to edit it, so please bare with me.

Life has been going pretty smoothly this past few weeks. Claire told me that the VJC principal announced to the school

"Results may be out by the 21st Feb, which is next Monday"

I do hope that God doesnt choose to give the "low side" of my life as the results. Please God, no. Please.

Shivers.

On Valentine's day (or Hari Kekasih khekhekhe), i
- Gained 10kg from eating a huge tub of chocolates
- Lost all my teeth due to sucking so many sweets
- Smell like a florist from being surrounded by so many flowers
- Have 3 more lives for receiving 3 heart-shaped pwessies.
- am very happy because the other half and i got to meet, even if for only an hour.

So anyway, im like really tired, and my family is beckoning me to join them have dinner. Therefore, i shall end here with something i "borrowed" from Sarah's blog.

[[ Starts ]]
Find a guy who calls you beautiful when you are at your worst. Who calls you back when you hang up on him or calls you just because to say that he misses you. Who will lay under the stars and listen to your heartbeat or will stay awake just to watch you sleep. Who will wipe away your tears when you are upset.

Wait for the guy who wants to be with you and only you, who kisses your forehead, who puts a smile on your face everytime you see him. Who will not lie to you. Who is willing to stay up until two in the morning to talk to you and makes you too tired for school but you won't even mind. Who doesn't always give in to you just beacuse you are his girlfriend and enjoys teasing you. Who is not ashamed to show you to his friends, who thinks you're the prettiest just the way you are and insists on holding you around your waist.

The one who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares and how lucky he is to have you without even saying anything. The one who turns to his friends & says "yeah that's her". Who holds you and tell you that everything will be alright. Who will do all he can to mend that broken heart of yours.

Find a guy who simply doesn't need a reason to love you.

After what Kak Ditri advised, i decided to give FireFox a go, since i too did hear good reviews about it. I liked the interface and all, but what made me stick to Internet Explorer is the fact that my blog's as well as a few other blogger's template went haywire in FireFox. And blogs are important to me, so i have to put up with internet explorer and as a alternative, use a better firewall. hhehe! Thank you though, Kak Ditri!

So anyway, im in a lil better mood due to the fact that ive cleaned up my room thouroghly, ate dinner with my family, as well as watched Power Rangers the movie. Since my mood has been lifted a lil, i shall (RE)blog about what happened today.

Since Valentine's day falls on a schooling day (where i end at 430pm and the other half, at 9pm), the other half and I decided to bring forward the celebration to today, the 12th of February 2005.

(Digressing a little, i know we Muslims are not allowed to celebrate Valentine's day, but i just take it as a day where we give lil presents to the ones we love to show them that we care.)

So anyway, whilst planning the day, we totally forgot that he is moving house today! haha. For the record, he's moving from the 4th storey to the 9th storey. hahaha. So at around 1245pm, the other half smsed me, saying that he felt guilty about going out with me later when his dad and uncles are all helping out to move the furniture.

Being the understanding girlfriend that i am (although i have to admit i was a little disappointed), i told him that i wouldnt mind him not meeting me, since i understand that family comes first. So he replied that he'll try asking his parents for permission once they get back home from the market.

At 110pm, he smsed me, saying that his parents just returned, and that even if he can go out with me, he'd only be able to do so after 3pm. So i heaved a sigh, and retreated back to reading the book 8plays by Huzir Sulaiman, oblivious to the potential customers walking around my shop.

5 minutes later, i felt a tap behind me. I swiveled my head around, and there he stood, his left hand holding a stalk of a red rose, his right hand gripping a teddybear holding a bouquet of 12 teenyweeny plastic roses, his mouth plastered into a sheepish smile.

I was taken aback for a while, and was too surprised that i didnt say anything for a few seconds. Then, all that i could mutter was

"Aww.. You're so sweet!"

Oh wow im such a loser. But seriously Is, if you're reading this, that really made my day. Thats the first time a guy has ever given me a surprise, a rose and a teddy all rolled into one. Thank you dear.

Since his daddy personally called and screamed at him to get home and help out, we had to forgo our plans to watch Dayak's gig at Jurong East library (sorry dayak!). Whilst eating lunch at KFC, i gave him his gift, a huge card with a cd inside, which contained a powerpoint presentation.

I guess thats all then. Oh and im so proud of my clean room (which i spent an hour cleaning), so here are photos of it. huaarghaha!

My studytable and notice board. The "graf" you see is actually my failed attempt at doing a Killer Gerbil. heh. and on the table is the rose he gave.

My wardrobe and my wall of posters of emocore, hardcore, metal, punkrock, ska etc musicians. not to forget the leaning lamp bought from Ikea last year.

My bookshelf, bed, pathetic wall of Original Cds and teddy bear collection. The one the other half just gave is given a special location; on my memory box. hehehe.
WHAT THE FUCK?! I JUST TOOK 2 HOURS TYPING OUT A FUCKING LONG POST AND REPLYING ALL THE TAGS AND FUCKING INTERNET EXPLORER DELETED IT. LIKE WHAT THE FUCK?! I AM NOT IN A GOOD MOOD AT ALL! AND IM NOT RETYPING THE WHOLE THING AGAIN! BUH!

To sum up the deleted entry.
- The other half gave me a surprise, a bear and a rose.
- school sucks.
- my mom thinks im hanging out with bad company again.
- rhino's bday is coming.
- support love fiesta JJC fair, 19th Feb, sat.

Im sorry but i dont think i'll be replying tags.

FUCK YOU INTERNET EXPLORER.

Random thoughts churning out from a half-asleep mind.

Went out with Nazeera today to get our GP portfolio done. For more info, please click here.

School is such a bore. Bore, is an understatement. I drag my feet to school everyday, to face the lecturers and sit through a whole day of mundane, monotonous teachings. The only reason im at school is because of friends, and because i can go out after that.

I am very tired. Goodnight.

Thursday, February 10, 2005

Ok im not currently in a mood to type out long entries, as my stomach's grumbling and im in the midst of completing another blog. So, let the pictures speak for itself ya?

Postscript: If you're on 56k, i advise you to click the red "x" at the top right hand corner of the screen. hehe.

Chinese New Year Eve.

Thats Salbiah, me and Yvonne.

Shamini (Loser! Never wear Cheongsam!), me and Sanghita.

Me, Sanghita and Hai Lin (Even more loser! Wear school uni). bUh!

The other half and I at Esplanade. (I got the 8 plays book by Huzir Sulaiman! Gasp!)

Paternal Family Goes to the beach.

Vroom Vroom!

Squashed like Sardines in a can.

The Sun, sand and the sea. Plus lots of screaming toddlers.

Soccer with the men of the family. haha.

Cycling the whole stretch of East Coast twice made my calf muscles solid again!

Skater Prodigy nose-manualing along the concrete floor.

Men of the paternal side. hurhurhur. Cute eh the young one?

"Kak Dila! Nak amek gambar lagi boleh?" These two make up half of the 100 photos i took during the day. haha.

My cousins. 2 were missing at that point of time. As you can see, this is why im so childish. heh.

There was a very beautiful sunset.

The whole family gathered for an end of year prayer after Solat Maghrib.

Breakfast at Coffeebean today.

My Machoman.

Ok then, i think i broke the record for having the most amount of pics in a blog entry. Would like to put more, but that'd be murder for photobucket. heh. Oklah, the loo is calling me. Goodbye. (",) God willing, i shall reply tags later tonight.

Slamat tahun baru Islam, 1426.

Tuesday, February 08, 2005

Faddy is too shagged from being out the whole day, and therefore cant blog. May not be able to blog tomorrow too, as her whole paternal family is going for an outing at East Coast Park.

For an apology, here's a photo of me in my Cheongsam. What you cant see, is that i wore it with my jeans and my chucks. waaahahaha!

Reminders to self:
- Reasons as to why i wear my jeans + chucks.
- Society fun in Hall.
- Hai Lin being a loser.
- Ms Poh complimenting on debate skills.
- Chinese never wear traditional, instead Malays + Indians do.
- Going out with the other half.
- Going to grannies.

Good night, sweet dreams.

BUH!

Bloody Econs is right, its hard to predict human behaviour. And i'd like to add on that the same theory applies to machines! 99.999999% chance they may be working perfectly fine, but that 0.00000001% it does not work correctly has to be MY modem.

Argh. Am in a horrible horrible mood. The stupid modem refuse to recognise the ADSL line. Ive checked and rechecked my configurations a million times, even getting my brother to recheck it, but noooo it doesnt work. BAH!

So anyway, today the Society (please refer to entry below about the bagdes) crashed into Lecture Theatre 3, got hold of the piano and the microphone, and started singing Januari by Glenn Fredly, an Indonesian singer. Even our Breastident who's an Indian, managed to learn the words. Yvonne was perfect with the piano, and even managed to teach me and Salbiah a few notes. It was fun.

Im still choosing whether to wear my Cheongsam the whole day tomorrow or change into my smart shirt and jeans. Probably Cheongsam, since wearing it is an annual event. Alhough its a tad leceh (troublesome). DONOLAH. Still fuming cuz of the modem incident. buh. shall reply tags as promised.

Reply to tags:

Aziz: hahhaa. yah i dono why i kecik2 mentel, den primary skool den i dun care about guys all the way till im sec 2. sec 3 mula gatal balek. wahaha! anyway, ur pirates thingy so reminds me of Spongebob squarepants. heh.

Waga Waga: haha. yeah spank that 14yr old bitch. Hiyaargh *spanks*

Xiuz: hahhahaha. yeah stop econs. demand go up, supply go up. maslow's law of hierarchy class. butter and guns. weeeeee!
I am waiting anxiously for the arrival of the Singtel guy/gal who, upon his/her arrival, will bring along my modem for my 512kb/s. *whistles*

I am trying to figure out a way to delete Kazaa so that he cannot detect that i've been a pirate for the past 2 years. Limewire and IRC has been deleted. Stupid Kazaa.

Tools from Cnet which have helped me remove 15 adwares and around 26 cookies, deleted any traces of my internet activities over the last few months and cleared all junk in my computer. Defragmented the whole computer again, and removed any programs which have not been used. I have to say im almost satisfied (stupid Kazaa).

So anyway, i'll update later at night, at a much much faster rate, ceteris paribus. heeeeehe.

The world is small. Really small.

I can't beleive my JJC mate, Naz was my K2 mate in Almukiminin! haha. Its a small world after all, its a small world after all. So anyway, Naz is the girl in the 3rd row, while im the girl in the 1st row.

And then you'll ask

"That makes two circles. So who's in the other circle, Faddy?">

Thats Mustakim.. hehe. He's my best friend in K2, and i had a crush on him from K1 all the way to Primary 4. wahahahahaha. Im soo pathetic. Good night. School tomorrow.

And thanks Is for meeting me today. You really made my day. :)

Good morning students~

Chey. Just trying to say the words that i'll have to say coutless times in a few years time if i choose the NIE career path. To tell you the truth, after being psychoed in the seminar, i, Nur Fadhilah, am considering again whether or not to take it up. Buh! See how fickle minded i can be. hahaha.

Yesterday was a great day, as i got to hang out with the two guy-people i love the most (outside of family members).

My best guy friend, Kimi Manjaa (aka Hakim)

The other half (aka Faris)

Hakim and i were supposed to meet at 12pm at the BoonLay control station. I personally smsed him at 11:40, asking

"Eh kau dah klua rumah belom?"("have you made a move from your house yet?"),

to which he replied

"Why?".

And so i assumed that he got the message that i didnt want him to be late as usual. So i got out of the house at 1145, and walked towards the busstop. At 1155am, my hp rang

"I'll reach there 1210 latest ok?"

So fine, i let 3 buses go by, and boarded the 4th bus at 1205pm. Reached Boon Lay int at around 1210pm, and waited...

and waited...

and waited...

and waited...

That aarrsseeehooooleee arrived at 12:30, grinning to himself, that he has once again broken the record for being late. Buh! Felt fuming and like strangling him, but since its been so long since ive seen him, and the fact that he had on a macho new hairdo (and not to forget the fact that im kindhearted), i forgave him.

The seminar was held in a very formal session, and was a tad too boring. Me and kim were like whispering to ourselves and making stupid comments, and i could tell the Makcik beside me was kinda irritated by the buzzing we made. teeheehee.

However, i cannot say that it was useless, cuz i learnt that on the 3rd year of the 5year bond (after the 4 year course), if my performance as a teacher is good, MOE will give me a scholarship to get a degree in Malay. and the best part is, its for FREE. ahaha. Faddy likes free stuff.

So yeah, im considering again. Stop tsktsking and shaking your head Claire and Ashrithaa! haha.

Ek ehh Hakim Hencem!

After the seminar, Kim treated me to KFC. Scrumptious chickeeen. We chat and caught up with each other's lives, and cracked lame jokes like we always did in our secondary school days. *ponders* I do miss those days.

Headed off to study with the other half at West Coast Park, cuz him and i, being students, do have a lot of homework to do, unlike Hakim, who complained that he had nothing to do. Buh! Count your lucky stars bebeh.

But but but, we didnt actually got around to do much work lah. Did like 3 or 4 questions, then we just chatted the evening away. He then nodded of to sleep for a while, whilst i enjoyed the evening breeze while watching children run about and reading a play on Hang Tuah and Hang Jebat, two famous Malay warriors.

On the way home, the other half held my hand, and we continued our banter, with his iPod being the background singer. We laughed at stupid songs, at stupid jokes and spend the whole time tinkering with his iPod. For a while there i remembered the times we used to spend together during the holidays, where we have no deadlines or whatnots haunting us whenever we go out, where we actually talk on the bus instead of being on each other's nerves due to our crankiness which was a result of a day of being in school.

Smiles.

Due to the other half's pleadings (heh), Love Song by 311 is up again. If its slow, just allow it to play once through, and then replay. This song is for you Is. *grins*

311 - Love Song
Whenever I'm alone with you
You make me feel like I am home again
Whenever I'm alone with you
You make me feel like I am whole again

Whenever I'm alone with you
You make me feel like I am young again
Whenever I'm alone with you
You make me feel like I am fun again

How ever far away
I will always love you
How ever long I stay
I will always love you
Whatever words I say
I will always love you

I will always love you

Whenever I'm alone with you
You make me feel like I am free again
Whenever I'm alone with you
You make me feel like I am clean again

How ever far away
I will always love you
How ever long I stay
I will always love you
Whatever words I say
I will always love you

I will always love you...

Will you be my Valentine?

Third entry for the day.

Sorry lah. Im just so frigging bored at home. So anyway, after 4 hours of meddling with my computer system, i am very very proud and satisfied. The system did not even once crash on me, everything is now running very smoothly, and my internet connection is like super fast.

Only one thing irks me though; not managing to delete 5 spy/adwares as i couldnt locate the files. Deleted the others though. heh.

So anyway, ive tweaked my blog layouts a little, as well as edited the "reads" section. If you find your name missing, for example Meami, ive deleted you cuz your blog no longer seems to exist. So just give me a holler at my tagboard if your blog is indeed, still alive. Thanks ya?
Second entry for the day.

The things i did since 530pm (time now is 730pm).

- Renamed, refiled and clear out the unwanted files in my personal folder.
- Removed all unwanted programs in the computer.
- Cleared the registries, the history etc.
- Defragmented all 120GB of disk space.
- Renamed all mp3 files so that they'll turn out nice in my mp3 player.
- Watched Get Real.

In today's Get Real Episode, they were documenting about runaway kids. There was this particular child whom i just want to slap right there and then, and i would if i could. Diana Ser's tone of voice, as well as the expressions on her face, too seem to reflect similar feelings.

An extract (something like that):

Diana Ser: So when you found out that your mom stayed up all night and walked around the whole neighbourhood looking for you, did you feel guilty?

Bitch: No.

Diana Ser: (startled look) You dont? But she looked all night for you, and she wasnt well.

Bitch: I didnt ask her to look for me. Why should i care?

Diana Ser: (slightly agitated) Oh. So do you think you'll run away again?

Bitch: If they give me more freedom and be more open-minded, i wont. But if they try to control me, i will.

Diana Ser: So if you were to run away, what would you do?

Bitch: I'd stay with my boyfriend, dont go to school and just work for a living.

Like what the hell? And she's only 14! Pfft. Kids like that deserves to be slapped man. The interview was conducted with the mother's presence. If i had put myself in the mother's shoes (i cant bare to, actually), imagine the amount of hurt i'd feel. Raising the child up for 14 years, trying my best to give my love and care, and this is the way my blood, sweat and tears are paid for. BUH! This kinda things makes me rethink my decisions about having children in the future. Scarylah. heh.

So anyway, the other half called just now to inform me that his team lost to the teachers 4 - 3, but he managed to bag 1 goal for his team. Weahoo! Congrats dear...

NIE seminar tomorrow. So exciting. *Grins*
You know sometimes when you have those days, where you just feel like making a fool out of yourself to entertain others as well as, well, yourself? My classmates and i had one of those days today. The theme of the day:

Badge Day.

Being the lamers of the class, the five of us met up early in the morning, each of us carrying a set of badges; any kind of badges, from the "im an entomologist" badge in primary schools to the "President of Commonwealth Secondary School Student Council" and even to the "Breast Cancer" pin. We swapped badges, and pinned a number of them on our uniforms.

Breastident Sangitah.

Breastident's ranks.

The person carrying the most number of pins for the day was Sangitah, also known as the Breastident. You can say that she was given that nick due to her wearing of the "Breast Cancer" as well as "Head Prefect" badge, or you could take the alternative, by linking her nickname to her, well, having the largest "assets" amongst the five of us. hehe.

President Salbiah.

President's ranks.

The second highest in rank would be Salbiah, as she had on the "President of CSS student council" badge, sponsored by me, of course. Salbiah here looks young, but surprise surprise, she's 18! Like *gasp*. Apparently she's even more immature then me. Tsk. Oh well, im always the most mature one in any group of friends i have. wahha! Yeah right~

Vice President's ranks.

I hold the third highest ranking in the group (named Society), being the VicePresident. Photos of me will not be put up, as my hair has recently gone haywire and im really pissed and sad about it. Pooh! Anyway, i have more pins then Salbiah, but had to be content with being the vicepresident as she "chop" the President's badge first.

Private Yvonne.

Private's Rankings.

Private Yvonne is the Indon of the group. Actually she didnt bring any badges along (what a traitor. heheh) but since we're mates, we care and share, so we gave her whatever extras we have. Being a private, she has to put on pins on her collar instead of her pockets, unlike high ranking officers (ehem).

Private Hai Lin.

Private's Rankings.

Actually Private Hai Lin brought most of the small pins (i brought the most large pins), but she donated them to Sangitah as she's the nicest of the group. Actually she didnt want to participate in our stupid exercise, but we kinda forced her to, so she put on a few pins to make us happy. hehe! Private Hai Lin deserves to be promoted!

Yes Mdm!

All day in school we walked around with that silly stuffs hanging on our uniforms, making it look like we have unbalanced-sized boobs. hehe. We greeted teachers loudly with salutations, and answered to calls with a "Yes Sir" or a "Yes Mdm". And can you believe we're like 16 going 17?! Can't believe we're so immature. haha..

Will perhaps be updating later at night. I'm gonna have my evening nap right now, period cramps knotting my insides. Buh! Oh yeah, i skipped Malay Cultural Society again. What to do? No friend to accompany me lah. heh.

Sweet dreams.

Thank you for the kind words, friends.

Haha. Well, after a night of constant twists and turns, the deafening process from a silent handphone, a call in the morning, a thousand apologies, and a long awaited day out, all that starts well, ends well.

Alhamdulillah.

My head's getting all dizzy with me staring at the computer screen with one eye lacking 400 degrees. My long-ago-expired contact lens finally died leaving behind a red imprint on my left eye. Therefore, i had to extract whats left from it and now im left with a contact lens only on one eye - my right eye. The words in your mind right now might be along the lines of

"Stupid. Take out your lens and wear your specs lah!"

But yeah, careless me has misplaced my specs somewhere around this 5room flat of mine and neither i nor my whole family could locate it for the past 2 weeks. Its a mystery that perhaps only Sherlock Holmes can solve. OK lame~ So my point is: Will someone sponsor me to get new contact lenses? hehehe.

As you can see, im in a rather good mood (if you set aside my frustrations at the stupid spyware which slows down my computer by a bazillion times and the fact that im worrying about something).

I umm.. "took a leave" from school today, and spent the entire day (which means 730am to 630pm) with the other half, something we've not done for a long long while since JC started. The first half of the day out was spent surveying iPod stuff, hockey stuff and talking whilst the second half was spent completing our homeworks as well as studying. A day very well spent, i must add. Worth getting detention (if). heh.

Note to self:
A man needs his:
- space.
- gadgetry.
- rest/sleep.

Remember the time not long ago where i mentioned that i lost my EzLink on a busride, only to find it on the way home as i boarded the same bus? History repeats itself! haha!

So me and the other half took 51 to proceed to Funan the ITmall to take a look at his iPod stuff. 5 seconds after i got off the bus, i fumbled my pockets, feeling for my brother's EzLink (i lost mine remember?), only to find it missing. I almost died on the spot. If i had lost my brother's card, that would mean another 24 bucks flying away. The other half had that "Oh God you're so hopeless" look on his face. Cant blame him. 2 cards in a week? God, NO!

As we were still in our patching-up stage, i made light of the situation, and shoved my worries and frustrations aside. We planned, that after getting what we wanted from Funan and Penin, i would proceed to Hougang to retrieve the EzLink while he would proceed to Westcoast Park to complete his tons of hw. I would then rejoin him, hopefully with my brother's EzLink safely in my pocket once again.

So after walking around the whole of Penin and Funan, we decided to stop and have our lunch at burgerking. It was there that the other half suggested i call Hougang Interchange instead of actually going there, so my trip wont be a wasted trip if the EzLink was not found. and so i did, thankfully. The stupid ezlink wasnt there.

With a rather heavy heart, knowing that i would have to starve for one more week, i proceeded with the other half to the busstop heading towards WestCoast Park. Whilst waiting for the bus, the other half remarked

"I hope we get a singledecker bus, the one that we took just now."

I laughed and replied

"Lighting doesnt strike twice on the same spot lah. I was lucky the last time. The probability of me getting back my EzLink on the same bus again is almost zero!"

Then, surprisingly, as if to prove me wrong, a singledecked 51 arrived. I boarded it, my hopes hitched a tad higher. We looked around. It was the same bus! Like OMG! Hopes higher. But bleah, an old man was sitting at where we were sitting on the way to Funan. So i patiently wait for him to alight, my nails bitten to half its size.

He got up. I scrambled to the seat, the eyes of the other commuters on me. THERE! The Ezlink nestled between the seat and the floor, my brother's face proudly beaming back at me. I made a slight giggle and a huge sigh of relief and hopped back to my seat, my face holding a megawatt smile, much to the amusement of the other commuters (who were now staring openly), as well as an embarrassed other half.

Alhamdulillah.

Oh and i just love it when you call me just to ask how i am and tell me how much you care. heh. Goodnight blogders.
